Connecting Across Cultures

We are Marc and Katrina Schachtler, both native Swiss and we live in Berne, Switzerland. We have 17 years of experience living in Asia, built friendships, and enjoyed great food. We have been married for almost 40 years and survived many adventures.

We love life and the beauty that comes with it. We keep traveling far and wide. Wherever we go we try to immerse ourselves into the local culture. Language is one important key to that. Both of us speak four or five different languages. Our Mandarin Chinese is pretty good too.

In 2016 we started a private tour company catering to the needs of VIP visitors from China when visiting Switzerland. The Covid pandemic has brought an unexpected halt to our usual activities. At this stage, we only serve Chinese-speaking individuals by referral, request, and selection. Our business model is exclusive, but thanks to that, we host and ensure our guests the best experiences in Switzerland.

我们是马克-沙赫特勒（Marc Schachtler）和卡特里娜-沙赫特勒（Katrina Schachtler），都是土生土长的瑞士人，现居住在瑞士伯尔尼。我们曾经在亚洲生活了 17 年，建立了难忘的友谊，享受了各种美食。我们结婚已经超过35个年头，经历了许多冒险。

我们热爱生命，也感恩生活的丰富和美好。我们喜欢远行和各种文化。无论走到哪里，我们都努力融入当地的环境。语言是其中的一个重要的关键。所以，我们都会说差不多五种不同的语言。我们的中文普通话也相当不错哦。

2016年，我们创办了私人旅游项目，专门服务于来瑞士访问的亚洲VIP贵宾。Covid疫情给我们的常规活动带来了意想不到的冲击。现阶段，我们通过个人推荐、申请和筛选，只为特定的人群提供服务。我们的商业模式很小众，但也正因如此，我们确保我们的客人在瑞士获得最佳体验。
